The very words of Chairwoman & ANC8A Commissioner Holly Muhammad and the very Commissioner who represents eight year Ward 8 resident Tom Donohue. Toms request? "please forward me the link to the Zoom meeting" a request only Ms. Muhammad could complete. Tom has never been affiliated with or part of, or ever supported in anyway any Proud Boys of any location nor has he ever supported any hate group or white supremacy group ever. Period. How did we get here? It started during the July 13, 2021 - the public AMC Commissioner meeting which was broadcast on the Zoom platform. See Commissioner More and Commissioner Muhammad were going round and round in circles about the method Moore was using to sign into the Zoom meeting - for whatever reason Moore was unable to login using her normal provided link which will automatically give Commissioner Moore the panelist the access she needs in order to be heard and seen during the meeting. At about 9pm, Commissioner Moore was trying to address a matter that was currently under discussion her only ability to communicate was via the chat box. Ms. Moore was hardly able to perform her duties since Ms. Muhammad refused to simply upgrade whatever login Ms. Moore was using in to panelist so Ms. Moore could properly represent her constituents. Commissioner Muhammad refused to grant Ms. Moore the access explaining that Ms. Moore gave out the very link intended for her which had the access to someone else. At this point the simple fix so the meeting could move forward would be for Commissioner Muhammad to simply upgrade Ms. Moore's access with the push of a button. At this point several constituents were complaining and just asking Commissioner Muhammad to simply allow her the access she needs. Tom joined the collective voices already asking for her to simply upgrade her access and upon seeing his chat box messages, Chairwoman Mohammad without cause or warning or discussion with the other commissioners the Chairwoman ejected Tom from the publicly held meeting which prevented his re-admittance. This is where you can pick up the email chain back and forth which starts with Tom sending the ANC Executive Director a letter requesting an investigation ... that's where we the email comes into play.
